Supplies
- Aerial Silk
- Two (2) Figure Eight Descenders (a.k.a, "huit")
- Two (2) Williams Screw Lock Carabiners (or other carabiners)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. The materials needed |

2. Insert one end of the silk through the large hole in the descender. On the left side, make sure there is about 2 yards/meters). Depending on the height you are hanging the hammock, this amount may need to increase. |

3. Tie an overhand knot and tighten. |
|
4. Tighten the overhand knot. |
|
5. Tie another overhand knot and tighten. Make sure that shorter end of silk goes over and under the main length in the same way as in the prior step. |

6. Tie a third overhand knot and tighten. Make sure that shorter end of silk goes over and under the main length in the same way as in the prior step. |
|
7. Connect the carabiner to the descender, and you are done! |
