The Fire Wisp was named for the Will o' the Wisp, floating orbs of light seen in swamplands. In the hand of a skilled user, the Fire Wisp floats about as if by magic. Other names, including Zip Poi, Floating Orb, and Slide Poi, are also known as the Wisp.
The Fire Wisp is crafted from our signature Moonblaze wicks on a special core that enables it to slide smoothly across the stainless steel aircraft cable body. It is controlled by a solid steel ring at each end, attached to the cable with a swivel to keep the cable from binding.
Due to the proximity to fire and potential heat buildup on the cable, we recommend wearing gloves and Kevlar sleeves (or a long-sleeved shirt) when using the Fire Wisp. To measure for your Fire Wisp, we recommend measuring your arm span from one palm to the other. Custom lengths are available. Maximum length is 6 feet.
